Vauxhall hired a car to replace mine from Gloucester depot . Car was hired due to a vehicle recall and was supposed to be like for like , mine is top of the range diesel , I was issued bog standard petrol . On the day the vehicle was picked up I requested a change to a diesel with at least an electric handbrake never mind all the additional bit my car has , theyvate an absolute disgrace , the worst customer services I have ever experienced from any Vehicle Hire Company here or abroad. Even after complaint passed to Manager . Promised several times to ring back re a change of vehicle had car from the 9th January and still waiting for a phone call re an update on availability . Would never recommend this company to anyone .
!!STAY AWAY FROM THIS BRANCH!!Hired a car through this company for a week as mine broke down.I needed to extend my use of the vehicle so was told a deposit of 70 was required to do so and that my original 50 deposit would be refunded immediately and the new deposit upon return of the vehicle.Currently, the car has been returned for almost 3 weeks and neither deposit has been returned.Several hours have been wasted trying to recuperate these funds through talking to the staff at this location, it would appear the systems used by Europcar to manage their operations are severely faulted and not a single member of staff has been able to give a clear answer to the issue at hand and i have been told conflicting information from several employees.Overall, if you are in need of a car STAY AWAY from this branch/company unless you enjoy poor service and being scammed.
So helpful. I am glad I didnt listen to their overseas operators that you get put through as I would not have gone through with my booking.
