The standard of workmanship is appalling!
Called in this afternoon to look at mazda cx5 and pick up a brochure. Both salesmen had clients but we had no acknowledgement of being there even though one went out to get a car ready for a test drive, and after 10 minutes we left still without an acknowledgement. Very poor customer service.
I gave my Volvo XC90 2010 model to Volvo dealer in Gloucester and after keeping it for few weeks, I was not given the right diagnostic for my car and was told ... it might be this, it might be that.. I find it very alarming as we go to Volvo dealers assuming that they will be able to diagnose and deal with any Volvo car issue.Either they dont have the right resources or the cars are coming with the faults that not even the dealers are able to identify.I would recommend to think twice before buying any Volvo car.
Johnsons Volvo are USELESS! It took over 3.5 months to get a simple part for my car. I had to call them over ten times to get the part and every time I called I got the same 'fob off' every time i.e. we're sorry and we'll sort it..... They promised a refund and they didn't even do that! Go to Fishers Gloucester Volvo Specialists down the road. Much better service and prices.
Service experience is awful. Never return calls or provide any proactive notifications. Everything feels too much trouble, even booking a car in is an issue, with calls being handed around. Staff will spend time casually chatting with engineers even when customers are waiting. Considering Volvo are trying to position themselves as a premium car maker this dealer has no concept of how to treat customers. One star purely the service engineers as, once you speak to them, they are helpful and knowledgeable, unfortunately completely let down by the rest of the service experience.
