Went to Gloucester yesterday Sunday to have new bulb put in my car the lad didn't have any idea on how to do new bulb had to google it for him lost a part to the fixing bulb back in not working had to get a mechanic out today been here 3 hours bulb has never seen any thing like it at all before will be bringing the bill to you for this work if can fix it
Ordered a new bike, promptly went in to pay for it and was told it would be built and i would get a call to let me know its ready....no call which is strange as this is one of those companies that is very quick to message you and call you when something is in and needs paying for....guess as i had paid there was then a lack of interest from them. Upon collection my bike had a few scratches on it, getting the manager involved resulted in a 10% discount but i believe treating people in the manner you would want to be treated goes a long way, the manager arrives and does not even acknowledge me, just says the most i will take off is 10%, i then explain how poor the whole purchasing experience has been and get a rushed apology from him as he darts off. Upon riding the bike home it is clear numerous things were not adjusted right, headset was incorrectly adjusted, and many of the fasteners needed tightening as they were left loose. The store does not have enough staff and that is the problem, they are all rushing around with their heads on fire trying to do 2 jobs at once.....and this is a managerial problem as a good manager would see his or her staff over worked and do something about it instead of burying their head in the sand.
Took my car for an mot and service. Booked online and had prepaid. Took my car in just after 9am. They called back around 11.30 to say that the car had failed it's mot and that a large number of jobs were required to fix it. Fair enough. However, once I got there and saw the paperwork, two jobs were required for the mot and the others for a service which they failed to say on the phone. Also, customer service there was absolutely shocking. When I got to Halfords, there was a customer in front and I patiently waited for the engineer to assist him. Once he left, the engineer did a number of things on the computer, printed some information and gave it to me. No explanation. No 'is there anything else I can help you with. He did not say a word to me until he had printed everything. And to make matters worse. Whilst I chose to speak to him another customer came through the doors and he immediately asked if he could help with anything. So I was misled about what work was needed to be fixed for the mot and had been treated as if I did not exist.. it was appalling. I will not be spending money at this garage again and will choose to go elsewhere... anywhere... No where can surely be as bad as Halfords.
Had a brake light bulb change at Halfords yesterday. The price and service were amazing. The brake light on my car was very fiddly to detach but the engineer was extremely careful, fast and professional. Both the bulb and the fitting service were value for money. Will definitely use Halfords again! Thanks
