Found this shop from website and visit it first time at weekend, i was looking for substrates for my daughter's. they don't sell the one we used to have. I have bought a bag of sand which advised by shop staff.. however when i go back home. my daughter told me gecko should not use sand as substrates and she showed me some video and website. such as: (It might sound a little bit shocking but that simply is the truth. Sand as a substrate is not good for your pet, it is pretty dangerous. Leopard geckos sometimes eat sand. That might have psychological reasons, or sometimes it happens while hunting crickets or other insects. The problem with that is that Leopard geckos cant digest sand and become impacted. Most geckos die after a while when they got impacted and believe me, you do not need such an experience in your life.) . So i went back to the shop 20 min after purchase this sand bag and tried to return the item and ask for refund.. however this shop girl said. there is no fault of this item and I have made my own choice to purchase this sand.. so they refused to give me refund. I have rang the owner,, basically said the same thing and question his staff knowledge. very disappoint and avoid this pet shop.
