This surgery is terrible, I was previously a patient at saintbridge surgery which was a fantastic little surgery where appointments were readily available and wait times on the phone and in surgery were minimal.Since they have merged and turned into the aspen medical it has ruined the surgery and makes seeing a doctor extremely difficult.Wait times on the phone just to speak to a receptionist are absolutely appalling (at least 15-20 minutes in a que) and you are then told the next appointment is in 7 weeks time.I am disgusted with the level of service offered at this surgery now!The building looks lovely at Horton road and when you can actually see a doctor they are friendly and helpful but everything else is terrible.......I would Avoid joining this surgery at all costs if you are new to the area and looking to join one.

Worst surgery I have ever been too.Ever since expanding it has become clear that this amalgamation of practices has become more about becoming a brand, expanding, getting greedy and making money than what its number one priority should be, which offering quality care for the people in our community!Trying to get an appointment for a serious issue there is a joke. I phoned on Friday to make an appointment to get a referral to see my dermatologist at the hospital for skin cancer and was in the phone queue for 40 minutes only to be told that they couldn't open the booking diary for an appointment two weeks away (they have nothing sooner) and to call back on Monday morning at 8.30am. I called first thing and was at queue position 24 (which means an excess of around an hours wait). The phone is constantly engaged and hard to get through on.It's almost impossible to get in here and if you are seriously ill I really do feel for you.We are constantly told by the practice that they are improving things with "their new system" which is the biggest lie ever. The Aspen Centre has gone down hill so fast its a disgrace. Nothing has been done to improve the experience for its clients and is a prime example of what greed does.I feel that the doctors are under pressure there and have to meet targets and save time. This unfortunately leads to them medicating the patient rather than dig down, find the cause and solution. In my wife case, she has something going on with her spine which has led to numbness down her leg and has been the case for over two years!!! She has been asked by a specialist "have you had an MRI scan" of which she hadn't. She was told that it would be paramount to have one done so that they could see what was going on. She has spoken to the doctor at the Aspen Centre on numerous times about this and and to obtain the required referral and he refer her. Instead he prescribed her Tramodol/Codine for the pain with blatant disregard for finding the cause!! This is totally abhorrent!!!As a great deal of others have left this practice, my wife and I also intend to do so.Its totally appalling how we are all treated there and if I could have left a review of less than one star, I would have!

It's worth the wait for me the doctors have always helped me and my family tremendously, the best service I have received. A nice modern clean building too with good facilities and chemist on the premises

Normally takes between 30 min and an hour to get an appointment!!!! Engaged and then on hold. More office staff or better systems needed.

Shocking. Always kept waiting way over appointment time, always a good 15 wait before you can speak to someone over the phone, annoy have afternoon appointments, appointments not available unless youre happy to wait a good 7 weeks!! Finally had appointment, told I need a load of bloods taken but not told if I need to fast or not, also GP didnt have a clue about my medication and hasnt specifically asked for a blood test to tea for an illness I already have. Absolutely awful!!! Typing this whilst on hold, been at number 15 for 12 minutes so far! If I couldnt change doctors I would grade are shocking!!
