This is a great place to go to to get your car sorted great staff that make you feel welcome
booked the MOT here which is convenient because is close to the city centre....but it is a very small garage and pretty dirty....Then unfortunately my car was returned with dirty oily marks all over the testing areas: the steering wheel, door handles, seat belts etc very visible on the cream interior.
Great customer service and good availability for appointments. Dropped off my car for a free MOT. It needed some extra work which was scheduled for two days later. I am very happy with the outcome of work done. Staff was pleasant and courteous throughout. Thing to improve is a faster service or a more accurate time scale of repairs as at my both visits the car was ready later than I was initially informed it would take. Overall, I am very happy with this Halfords autocentre.
Pre-booked MOT was cancelled by this Halfords Autocentre 1 hour before it was due due to their tester becoming "sick" and they were unable to offer me another appointment for several days. I wonder if this had anything to do with the fact my MOT was free as part of the Halfords Stores offer Thankfully, I was able to get my car MOT'd at a nearby Kwik-Fit centre the following day without any problem.
The staff was very friendly. Even tho they were busy when I came in, they took the time to look at my car. They couldn't repair it themselves as they couldn't order the part in but advised another place that was able to do it. It was very helpful and generous.
