Really enjoy visiting this place. Great ales and food too, atmosphere is nice and relaxed regardless of time of day or night. Enjoy time here with the rugby. Regular visitor
This is our favourite pub in Gloucester. It serves up locally made beer in several different styles, keeping some old favourites and rotating others with more seasonal choices and some guest brews. It reminds me of an Indie Bar like you might find in the US. The food is also quite excellent - they have cheese boards if you're in a sharing mood and their pizzas and burgers are up among the best you can get in Gloucester among restaurants I've tried. I definitely recommend TANK.
My favourite place for drinks in Gloucester! Wonderful place & brewery making some fantastic beers and ciders. They do also do other beverages. The cloudy cider is one of my favourites.. like proper Somerset cider. Great food/nibbles menu. Nice to see that vegetarian/vegan diets are actually catered for with some tasty treats.
Very nice lunch with friends and family. Four stars because service rather slow. Short-handed I think. But food and beers/cider all delicious and good value. Loved the playlist!
Favourite little bar to visit when I go to Gloucester. They offer thirds of pints so you try 3 of any of their range from the Gloucester brewery which is located just over the canal.Nice comfy atmosphere, seating is at a premium at busy times but an ideal spot to stop for a drink in between shopping. Perfect location during the Christmas Market.Staff are very knowledgeable and helpful if you're undecided on what ales etc to order. Tasters are always offered if you're really unsure just remember your manners as it's gets very busy at the bar.
