Ordered a cab, had us waiting for 30 min only to get a call saying no cab drivers feel like coming...
I am a regular customer who uses this service frequently to and from Kingsway. The drivers are always pleasant and do their best to adhere to set times requested. I recommend this service to anyone looking for a great service with reasonable prices!
Poor and not friendly service . Driver asked for the money on front in cash .

I write this review without trying to offend anyone within the company or the owner. Hired a Taxi from Gloucester to Birmingham Airport. The owner took us there no problem, however the return journey to be honest despite the van being nice and big and new, the owner who is a dangerous driver in my personal opinion (especially the return journey from Birmingham Airport to Gloucester), at times became sketchy and off track whilst he was driving kept driving off lanes and on the edge of lanes. To me it seemed he had no understanding or knowledge of road safety as the taxi driver was speeding up to 70-80 miles per hour on a narrow road which was supposed to be a 40 or 50 mph speed limit, probably, most likely even 30 mph. Also kept swerving, stopping really fast at random times which felt like it a was very unsafe drive, me and my family kept getting frightened by his reckless driving which included one child who was put in to danger in my opinion. Also had no idea where he was going and got lost whilst trying to come back from Birmingham Airport to Gloucester, so I had to use "his phone" and put on the GPS to get back to the right motorway, this took approximately 2 plus hours to get home. (I believe as a customer I shouldnt have got into distress over his driving and this put me and my family in a distressful situation.) Additionally; Yes the motorway was closed so he had to take another route but I believe as a taxi driver who has 20 plus years of experience, drives from airport and back on a daily basis should have not got lost and caused an extra accounted hour to which he then asked for additional money on top of the agreed sum which I did not pay. He then dismissed it without questioning. There was no peace of mind on the return journey and as previously mentioned above, this caused a distress amongst me and my family due to an unprofessional driving experience.To my personal opinion, his driving experience is debatable and maybe even suspicious at best. I do not recommend the company or the person driving you to long distance places. I re-edited this review due to crossing paths with the taxi driver today (07/08/2017) - I previously had mentioned -- to clarify that he is disabled -- and I want to stress and illuminate that I do not or did not intend to invade his disability and/or privacy, as this was mentioned to me by the taxi driver himself. I tried to explain it in person but I did not get a word in edge wise, hence I have re-edited this review and have added additional review in writing an honest, constructive critical analysis without any prejudice, hate or intend to offend. I wrote this as an honest review and I do not hold any grudge or hate towards anybody within the company or any individuals at Gloucester, City Cars. Regards.
