The Outlet is a glossy paean to consumerism that, like so many other shopping centres seemed very quiet. There were remarkably few people walking around and there was limited evidence of anyone spending money. Admittedly it was a cold winter Monday morning. Lots of good bargains to be scooped up.
Certainly better than Gloucester city centre! Nice to see historic buildings being used, although the majority of upper floors are flats there are a wide number of shops and restaurants. Would certainly visit again.
Not enough parking, not helped by the Quays closing their car park on busy days. The shops are good but you can never get parked to see them!
We visited when the Christmas market was on so it was brilliant but even without that a great shopping experience, plenty of places to eat and parking was excellent. The wetherspoons is very busy so avoid peak times. Easy walk to city centre too.
It's certainly a nice place to shop and the car parking is good. It's all very modern and clean. The shops are outlet stores, so you may get some bargains, but you might not find the full range you would get on the High Street. Outside, they have farmers' markets, Christmas markets and so on. The Gloucester Quays redevelopment has certainly livened up the area and made Gloucester a more attractive shopping destination for people from out of town.
