Super atmosphere, friendly, welcoming staff and superb quality food
Well established and long standing which is always a good sign. Sensible choices for all dietary requirements and the staff are extremely accommodating, polite and the cost is quite reasonable. A local curry house with an upmarket feel :)
Very friendly and presentable place to eat, interesting choices of dishes along aside the usual options you would normally order. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone and will return again to sample something different from the menu. A little jewel in Gloucester.
Selection of food was great if you ate meat. Vegetarian selection was fine. Food once ordered wasnt that good. Dont even bother asking the waiter/s questions about menu items, youll get a condescending response as if you know nothing of Indian cuisine.... I asked if the mains were to have a sauce with them, as the one I wanted didnt state if it did. I was told that all curries have a sauce that is what curries are the fact that it didnt state it was a curry mightve given me reason to ask? Also I asked if the Indian cheese was panir, I was told that it is Indian cheese??? I know lol I just asked that. Aside from that didnt enjoy the meal. The restaurant was beautiful though. One of the waiters was awesome, he was the younger one. Very polite.
